Are the CD and DVD player one and the same? If not, does the "console bin" below the aircon switch have enough clearance behind it, or was it your first option?

If the screen is one you can mount independent of the player itself, I would suggest putting it behind the fuse panel in the lower dash, and cutting it to fit the face. Move the clip mount elsewhere so the dash panel will still lock.

If this DVD player is the "pop up screen" type, check its mounting hardware, and mount it so it can swing down in front of the rear vision mirror. If you need some ideas on that, go look at the setup in the luxury version of the current Captiva.

Mechknight - if its a 2din player that means its the same size as the standard player that comes out in VT onwards. the normal size of a VN factory player is a single din. Hope that helps you help green vn cos im very intreeged at the answer myself as I have thought about doing it myself but unsure

I'd gladly push my holden than drive a bloody ford!

Ok, I'll admit I haven't seen too many car DVD players up close, but have seen a few weird setups
