Modifying a car is like a drug once you start you cannot stop.

Small Block Chev

What's the difference between understeer and oversteer?
Understeer is when the driver is scared.
Oversteer is when the passenger is scared.

Go look up a Series II VT V8; the VT S1 had 5 litre V8s, the S2s changed over to the LS1. If you can compare them side by side, you should see a marked difference if there is any.

If you mean an old fashioned iron block SBC, then the differences were minimal. Just find an HQ Monaro with a 350 fitted, then look at a Kingswood with a 253 or 308.
